What is ACT?The success of any organization is the tangibility of its mission – what it envisions as its goals and the ways in which it plans to achieve them – and the cohesiveness of its workforce in supporting and advancing this mission. CNE wanted memorable and meaningful messages to underscore all we do in the health care marketplace, words and sentiments that resonated with our employees. In order to facilitate this process, more than 3,000 employees took part in a survey that identified our new system values as Accountability, Caring and Teamwork (ACT).
ACT has quickly become an important part of CNE, trickling down through the organization at meetings and being reinforced through the recognition of ACT-worthy behaviors. It also spawned the creation of a new corporate mission and vision.
