Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy

VNA of Care New England's physical therapists help patients restore movement and function, ease pain, and increase strength and mobility. Using a wide range of techniques, they work in the patient's home to evaluate and treat problems with moving, balance, strength, and conditioning.

This may involve retraining skills that the patient had before an illness or teaching new skills such as using a walker or cane. The physical therapists will help develop an individualized exercise program to help patients achieve their goals. Physical therapists also focus on fall prevention and home safety to allow patients to remain at home, with each care plan designed with the patient’s unique home environment in mind.
